About us
A small team, and that's deliberate
We're Stack Labs, based in Pará de Minas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. We build websites and custom software for companies — and the person you talk to is the person building your project.
Why we exist
Most companies that come to us have already had a bad experience. They hired someone, the project ran late, it came out different from what was agreed, and after delivery nobody replied anymore. Or worse: they got locked into a platform that charges for every change and won't let them take their own site elsewhere.
We started Stack Labs to work the opposite way. Scope written before we start, a deadline that counts as a commitment, code and domain in the client's name, and direct access to whoever is building — no sales layer in between.
We do two things: websites that bring customers in from Google, and custom software shaped around how a company already works. We don't run ads, produce video or do PR. We'd rather do two things well than ten things adequately.
How we work
Six commitments we put in writing
The price is fixed before we start
Scope, timeline and cost agreed on paper. If something new comes up, you approve it first — it never becomes a surprise on the invoice.
The deadline counts as a commitment
The delivery date is written into the proposal. If we cause a delay, you hear about it in advance and you don't pay for it.
Everything we make is yours
Domain in your name, source code handed over on request, data exportable at any time. Leaving is never a problem.
You talk to whoever builds it
There's no account-management layer. The person replying to your messages is the one with your project in hand.
We say no when no is right
If a cheap off-the-shelf tool solves your case, we say so instead of selling a project. We've turned work down for that reason.
Our mistakes aren't billable
Anything broken in what we built gets fixed at no cost, inside or outside the 30 day support window. We only charge for new functionality.
Honesty before the quote
When Stack Labs isn't the right choice
If you need a site live tomorrow: our minimum is 7 days and we don't make exceptions that compromise quality.
If you want the lowest price on the market: someone will charge less, and we won't try to compete there.
If you need a full-service agency with ads, video and PR under one roof: we don't do that, and we'll point you to people who do.
If your case is solved by a cheap ready-made tool: we'll tell you that in the first conversation.
